Well, I'm still looking for adequate speaker feet and may have to settle for something made by a local machinist to match the base. However, I think I've found what I need to connect the base to the speaker itself. It's a bit 'thicker' than I would like at 3/4", but I'm thinking ~6 of these per speaker should fit the bill. The rubber is 50A durometer neoprene, at least on the model selected.

Current base model with no through holes for bolts and such.

And with the speaker on it. This provides a 1/2" lip around all sides, with 1.5" radius on all curves. Projected weight at 1" thick is 65 pounds, though I'm wondering if 3/4" would look better with the 3/4" gap that will be present between the base on the speaker. It'll probably depend on the selected feet.
