I was watching a movie tonight and the center channel began crackling and popping. I thought my center speaker had gone south, but testing revealed the center channel on the amp died. I use a separate stereo amp, so I have two spare channels available. Moved the preout and speaker-level connections to the front right channel and ran test tones. When it cycled to the channel, same crackling and popping. Now, the front right channel's dead too. Moved the preout and speaker-level connections to the front left channel on the 1075 and it is intact. So I'm temporarily relying on that channel to keep my system running, but any clues as to what might've happened? Blown fuses? Help please!

I suspect this caused an electrical...-

Hi GUys,

RB-991 =
Total Harmonic Distortion (20-20,000 Hz, 8 ohms): - less than 0.03 percent
Continuous Power Output (20-20,000...-

by JPHey guys, so this has happened in the past. ( I drop an RCA cable and it falls on the positive/negative speaker terminals, I curse myself and then replace the fuse kinda thing) This time though, no such easy resolution. I come back from vacation just 2 days ago. The power had gone out a few days earlier,...-

by kcsunMy home theatre setup uses 803di as left and right and an HTM2Di as centre. My ongoing issue is that of intelligibility of speech. I do realise that actors do not speak "proper" any more and do not always face directly to the microphone when talking. (this is why animated movies are usually...-
