Hi GUys,
I am looking at 2 models of the Rotel 2 channel amps and trying to decide which on to get, either the RB-991 or the RB-1080.
RB-991 =
Total Harmonic Distortion (20-20,000 Hz, 8 ohms): - less than 0.03 percent
Continuous Power Output (20-20,000 Hz, 8 ohms): - 200 watts per channel
Signal to Noise Ration (IHF A network): - 116 dB
Frequency Response (+0.5 dB, -3 dB): - 15 Hz to 100,000 Hz
RB-1080 =
Watts/Channel all channels driven, unbridged, 8 ohm load, 20 to 20k Hz, 0.03% THD 2x200 watts
Frequency Response 15Hz-100kHz +0.5dB, -3dB

As for the 991 vs. the 1080... I would think Azeke's right. The differences would be mostly cosmetics and features. Do you care if the amp matches your 1055 or if it has a 12v trigger?
