Recently started Anthology Build-- pics inside!

Hi all! I just recently delved into the DIY audio world looking to build some nice tower speakers for my apartment at school. I settled on the Anthology speakers. Will update as I assemble the cabinets. I am probably going to take them to a family member who does custom automotive painting to give them a nice piano black finish.

Here are some photos of the parts prior to final assembly

    Hi Kyle,

I can't see any pictures but I think you'll enjoy the Anthology's a lot. They're one of my favorite designs that Curt and I came up with.

      Jim,

Fixed the photos. Turns out the photo option here doesn't work with imgur so I just added the link. Can't wait to actually hear these play.

Update: finished internal assembly with pyramid poly foam and cotton/poly batting. I opted to use 2 window pan braces to allow a more open internal cavity if I want to stuff with raw cotton or poly at the end of construction.

            Hello All;
I'm looking to start my Anthology build this fall and i have a question.......

The cabinet stuffing calls for 2" foam.....I currently have 1/2 a bale of ROXUL Safe N Sound and I would like to use that up if I could. The batts are about 3" thick. Do you suggest that I trim them down to 2" thick or cover less surface with the 3"?

            Thanks

            Juju

3 inch will be fine for the woofer compartment. Careful to not crowd the back of the drivers.

                    by deewan
Greetings all. I've been out of the DIY speaker kit scene for a bit. My last build was a Statement II custom cabinet build 8 years ago. I recently sold my home and the new owners wanted to purchase all my theater gear and DIY speakers. I find myself with nothing more than a Sonos ARC and Sonos sub to...

                    by Dilirium
Hi all, I am new to this forum and I just recently started my Anthology's. I have a set of Dali Concept's now and I want something better.
At first I planned to build the Statement II speaker but those were rejected by my better half due to their size. I really like the Statement design of Spleen21...

New Diy'er here. Chose to build the Anthology's. I am looking to replace PSB Image B25 speakers. I have a PSB C60 center and 4 PSB in-ceiling surrounds and a DLS-4000R 12" Subwoofer. I will just be replacing the two front speakers. I purchased the full kit from Meniscus with the assembled crossovers...

This began as a upgrade project to a mostly home theater (HT) arrangement we have which is a hodgepodge of Yamaha receiver, 12" Mono Sub. Bose 6 and Bose center bar with Bose 101's as rear and rear center speakers. The Anthology II's will for some time to come be above the grade of the other components...

                    by tommarra
                    Quick question folks:

Is Melby Audio still in operation? I was looking to order flatpack cabinets for Jim and Curtz Statements II or Anthology speakers. They show sold out on the website, so i tried to contact them via webform as well as facebook, but no response.

                    Anyone...
