To all of the new 1066 owners out there: Make sure that once you have everything setup in the OSD, ie. labels, speaker levels, input sources, etc. go to the default area and save your settings. I found out the hard way Saturday night that if you don't do this and you lose power for some reason you also lose all of your settings  I've never had this problem with any of my receivers so I assumed the 1066 would retain my settings after a power failure.

Guess I was lucky or something. I will save this config right now
Thanks

I can top that. I did save my settings, lost power one day, and it reset my unit back to factory default settings! It wiped out the memory and I couldn't restore my settings.Originally posted by skullmurdocThats odd,

by Parrot HeadI need to ask what may be a dumb question about the 1066’s Default Setup. I’ve been adjusting the rear channel settings via the remote to approx. +7dB. I find this (although it may be a bit exaggerated) improves the surround experience when listening to basic cable.
My problem...-

by scottnvI have a couple of questions for the group out there:
I notice the RSP-1066 seems to have two subwoofer settings - you can adjust the sub setting in the test tone screen and also you can adjust it in the subwoofer setting screen. Are these two screens interactive - if you adjust the sub...-
