    Line trim on RLC-1040

When the voltage reaches 125 the RLC-1040 "trims" it down to 117 volts.....shouldn't it be trimming it down to 120?

Depending on which mode you have it in; Narrow, Normal, or Wide; it can be plus or minus 5%, 10%, or 15% of 120VAC at the output. At 117VAC you are doing really good.

I have a RLC-1040 and a APC H15 - almost the same units. When we have a power failure / spike all equipment plugged into the Rotel RLC unit will power on when power comes back on (even if equipmewnt was off originally). With the APC unit this does not happen. What gives? The settings are identical. I can't get a clear answer from Rotel on this.

does the RLC1040 have input and output for ethernet cable?
        by BlazeMaster
I looked at the specs on both the RLC1040/1080 and the pictures shows that the RLC1040 has conditioned in/outlet for either phone line or ethernet line. I'm more interested in the conditioning for the ethernet cable, but the specs state that only the RLC1080 has the ability to condition ethernet cables....

        ROTEL 1066/1075 - APC 450 UPS Compatibility?
        by ti33er
        Hi again,

My work is throwing out some perfectly good APC UPSs, and wonder if any of you delightful fellows know whether or not they would be able to support my ROTEL 1066/1075 units? (and if they are worth using anyway?)

The specs are as follows: (I live in the UK and...

How to. Trim veneer for speaker holes
        by KnightsOfNi
One questions asked many times on this forum is how to trim the veneer smoothly around speaker holes when the speakers are flush mounted.
The problem is, because the recesses can be as shallow as 0.100" or so, traditional flush trim bits do not work.
        So what are the options?

        RLC-1040 vs. APC H15
        by MusicMonkey
Hopefully a quick question for everybody: I've read here and in other forums that the new RLC-1040 power conditioner/regulator is "based on" the APC H15.

Does anyone know for sure if these two are literally EXACTLY the same on the inside, just that the RLC-1040 has a different...

Hey, where's the 1066's LFE Trim setting?
        by Legairre
A lot of receivers have an LFE Trim setting that ranges from 0 to +10. For DTS your supposed to turn setting to 0 and for DD your supposed to set it at +10. Anyone know if the equivalent on the 1066 is the +/- setting in the subwoofer setup menu. I know Rotel doesn't call it LFE Trim, but does the +/-...
