I looked at the specs on both the RLC1040/1080 and the pictures shows that the RLC1040 has conditioned in/outlet for either phone line or ethernet line. I'm more interested in the conditioning for the ethernet cable, but the specs state that only the RLC1080 has the ability to condition ethernet cables. Is the outlet shown on 1040 just a conditioner for phone lines? I really like to keep everything Rotel, but it seems like Monster products might offer more for the buck. Anyone here has the RLC1040/1080 and can share your experiences with either?
does the RLC1040 have input and output for ethernet cable?

by gerardhnAll,
Can we ask Classe to write something what their intention is for the ethernet connection??
The USB/Apple front connection gets all attention.
But the ethernet? This is even more interesting.

by chrispy35Like any normal person, I'd like to use the switched outlet of my receiver to turn on/off my power amp (RMB-1066). My budget doesn't allow for something like an RLC-900 right now but I'd like something that performs the same basic function, minus the filtering and timing. I'd like to avoid a wall-wart...-
