Hey, where's the 1066's LFE Trim setting?

A lot of receivers have an LFE Trim setting that ranges from 0 to +10. For DTS your supposed to turn setting to 0 and for DD your supposed to set it at +10. Anyone know if the equivalent on the 1066 is the +/- setting in the subwoofer setup menu. I know Rotel doesn't call it LFE Trim, but does the +/- on the sub setup menu serve the same purpose.

    Thanks

Sub level setting doesn't serve the same purpose because that setting adjusts the general level for any signal being reproduced by the sub. This includes data from the LFE channel as well as any information in the other 5 channels below the specified crossover point. A dedicated LFE adjustment setting would only affect the information from the LFE channel.

That being said, in my experience most receivers with an LFE level setting allow you to adjust the LFE level from -10 to 0, with 0 being the standard setting. if you are talking about the DTS LFE issue with DTS LFE tracks being played back 10db's too low, i believe that is only an issue with certain receivers/processors (H/K x20 series comes to mind). I haven't heard anything regarding that issue and Rotel units.

I don't think it's an issue on processors that don't have that option, they set the LFE level automatically.

7100, LFE, and Subwoofer level, relationship?
        by Wadsbrau
I am trying to wrap my head around LFE, and subwoofer levels and how they interact with the 7100. I completely understand what LFE is. However, I am not sure how the 7100 settings for Subwoofer level (in speaker setup menu) and the LFE level interact with the 7100. Subwoofer level generally sets...

        RSX-1056 trim question.

I am looking to buy an RSX-1056 used and I want to know if this model allows for trim level (speaker level) adjustments when using the Multi Channel input.

I will be using an Oppo BDP-93 player. This model does have trim adjustments but I just like to the quick and easy option of adjusting...

        Setting subwoofer level with RDC-7
        by wbk
I'm having trouble getting my subwoofer level up to the level of the other speakers in my system. I have an Integra Research processor and, when I try to balance speaker levels through my processor, the subwoofer (Revel B15) level is way down even if I decrease the levels of the other speakers (Legacies)...

        LFE over x-over freq discarded for 1066, 1065, & 1055?
        by BleakShore
I'm told that the BM in the 1066, 1065, & 1055 discards the LFE above the crossover frequency. That is, if you set your speakers small, and chose to set the sub crossover freq at, say, 60 Hz, anything above 60 Hz in the LFE channel is simply discarded.

        Now, this doen't sound like...
