    1066 Resistor Fix

What are the numbers of the resistors to be cut? Andrew's diagram is gone.

This thread has the diagram. I'll look into why the other images aren't showing up but the diagram that is showing is really the one you need.

      That's for the 1055 though.

Well I need to be 100% sure as you can understand.

In that case I suggest sending it in to Rotel to have them do the fix. Its not that expensive and turn around should be reasonably quick.

              Here's the 1066 link

It's in the Rotel Links "Sticky"

Good luck, I did mine a while back. It was unnerving opening it up but once I got in there I was relieved to find it quite straight forward and a cinch :T

I have found that link but the diagram is missing. I just need to know which resistors.

The resistor numbers are the same reguardless of where they are positioned. I've lost the pages I had detailing the 1066, but it's still RW167 & RW170.

Perfect that is what I needed to know and if someone could give me a clue on what board they're located?

They are actually right on the multi-input board. Just take the cover off and find the board all the multi-room RCA's attach too. Pretty hard to miss.

Just bought a 1066/1075 (not even hooked up yet) and came across the "double bass" issue with the multi-inputs here.

Sent Rotel tech-support an e-mail about the resistor cut fix and rec'd e-mail indicating that the "double bass concern is erroneous" and that there...

The ones on this site from 4 years ago are not linking anymore and I'm in need of a diagram showing where the 2 resistors were that solved the double bass issue on the multichannel inputs. Anyone have this? THANKS!

                          1066 BM setup

Hi! New to the forum, as I just got my 1066/1075 combo last week.
I'm glad I found this site, because I'm having a hard time trying to figure out how to do my bass management.

                          My equipment is as follows:

                          RSP 1066 / 1075

I know this subject has been beaten to death but here it is again.
I'm planning on getting a demo 1066 tomorrow, I know that the 1066 has been replace by the 1068, but Dolby Prologic IIx doesn't do anything for me since I'm running 5.1. I will be doing the bass management fix for the 1066 and...

The multi channel BM fix is in!

Here's a diagram of the two resistors that you need to "cut" to remove the bass redirect on the multichannel inputs. This fix only works for the 1066 NOT the 1055 model. I post this information for your benefit but legally neither I, Rotel or HTGuide in any way shape or form will be held accountable...
