I have the RS meter - response is supposed to be flat +or- 3db from 35hz. I suppose its a good starting point at least to give me some indication of what is going on.

Wow thats very revealing - and I only downloaded 5 hz steps 20 - 80. The thing is I'm only hearing and seeing levels from 35 up. I have run the disc in both stereo and surround modes - sub and no sub - its not even close to flat.

Below about 32 - 35 hz the sub driver is moving but there is no audible or measureable sound - is this normal ? Or is it an indication of the quality of my ears,the sub,or my spl meter ?

Hi I just joined. I have a RSX-1056 and use it in a 5 channel system. It drives B&W 703s for the front mains. I thought I needed a little more power to drive the front speakers and got a rb-1080. I thought going from 75W->200W would make it sound better and for some of the music I play allot... -
I have a RB976 6 channel amp

It drives my M&K k17's and K4's all of which are rated at 4 ohm.
The amp's specs are rated at 4 ohm and it is very clear the amp should and can drive 4 ohm speakers on all channels.... -
