    RC-1070 concern

I noticed this weekend that when I had the CD source chosen (CD changer not playing) I could hear a faint sound from the AUX (Ipod was playig through AUX) . Is this normal?

I haven't checked mine -system is offline until Wednesday or Thursday (getting new speakers), but I wouldn't worry about it. It is just some of the signal getting to the selected source via its ground connection. It is in no way harmful, and will also not be bad for your listening experience (provided no sources other than the selected one are actually playing).

It's just inherent with analog inputs on probably 99% of equipment out there. Solution, don't play the IPOD when not listening to the CD player..

When you actually think about what you want to fix, you'll see there really isn't a problem. It's nothing that shows up when actually listening to the device you've selected.

          Hello all,

Have been lurking through various HT forums for some time but new to Club Rotel. I have learnt much and have improved my system greatly with the advice I've learnt. However, I am looking to upgrade within a limited budget, and a limited physical space and wish some advice....

Question about AUX outputs for a Rear Sub.
          by slayer
My question is about programming for a rear sub. I have my front/main sub hooked up to the LFE/sub preout. No problems here. I have another sub in the back of my room and it is hooked up to the AUX 2 output to mimic the main sub. No problems here.
I want to try my rear sub as a dedicated rear...

          RC1070 or RC995 matched w/ RB991
          by luszer
Interested if anyone has an RB1080 or 991 teamed up with either RC1070 or older pre-amp such as RC995. In doing research, a used RC955 costs about same as a new RC1070. Wait are the differences and sonic characters on either pre-amp? Any info greatly appreciated. Tyring to make a hard decision on investing...

          Q re Pre-amp sections of RA1062 and RC1070
          by ds22030
I am disassembling my HT system and going back to a receiver for HT. I am using the various components (including my main speakers and RB-1080) for a separate 2-channel music system....this means I need a good 2 channel pre-amp.

Does anyone know if the pre-amp sections of RA1062 and...

          Alright guys, techy question here.

I have a C2 controller driving my system. I have an A52 to drive my main 5 channels, and a bridged A23 for my sub. I have two custom made bookshelf speakers (as mains, driven by the A52) that sit on top of two custom made woofers. These woofers are...
