I have the B&W 803S,805Sand the HTM3S for 50/50 HT and music listening.Can any of you kind guy in here guide me in what amp, pre/pro shou;d i look at if i want to go to the Bryston way?Thank you

I am using a 4BSST2/BP26DA with my 802DI and love it. Bryston makes great amps.

7b are way over the top for 803, 6bsst max for front lcr and then 2bsst for rears. Or they still make a 9b 5ch version.SoundEngine355

I purchased a pair of brand new B&W 804 Diamonds along with Emotiva XPA-5 amps (200W x 5) and Emotiva processor UMC-1 2 months ago.
The home theater sound is excellent for what I need.

Say you were getting an itch... and you had around $13k to plop down on a new (or used) pair of B&W's. Would you get the new 802Di? Or the previous generation 800D?

I am happy with my B&W Matrix 801 S3 speakers for quite a while. For me the greatest shortcoming is a sometimes unclear bas, but that does bother me only with certain recordings. I like a bas which doesn’t sound strengthened or unclear. When listening to e.g. a contrabass I want to hear just that....
