OK, IM a little slow. I purchased an onkyo TX-DS787 about 8 years ago and just today realized It has 2 component in and 1 component out set of jacks behind it. My HD mitsubishi is the same age and it only has 1 set of component inputs. Now that I have two HD devices to run through this TV Im looking for a way to connect both devices at the same time without having to unplug one to use the other. Will these inputs/outputs on the back of my onkyo serve this purpose or are they for something else. I currently have it connected this way but Im getting no picture so Im wondering is there something I need to do in the onkyo's menu to tell it what Im doing or should it automatically detect what I did? I have triple checked now to make sure all the component cables are connected properly and they seem to be. Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jon
By the way I purchased a PHILLIPS component switcher box today that does what I want but it distorts the picture terribly.
