Doing the comparison was a good experience with my son. Especially getting his reaction to the same sample of music.

I will concede that it was not a perfect setup for comparison. The Bordeauxs were not perfectly placed in the room and had to compete for breathing room with the larger speakers. I am still not sure how to proceed. The Bordeauxs are the better home theater experience. Especially in action movies. I really like the Bordeauxs and still like the Maggies. I could move them upstairs with the 70 inch TV. The Bordeauxs actually got a "Those look great" from my wife. And I rarely get a positive reaction like that. Unfortunately, the Maggies are too big to use in my room as surrounds. Although I would like to try them as sides. Maybe I can figure a way to work that out. 8)

Your help during the build was much appreciated. Especially the bit to cut the veneer in the driver holes.

Again, for someone looking for a project that is a straight forward build and sound great, these just might be what you are looking for.
