Looks like the start of a nice setup. :thumb:

I assume you're going to be building a TV stand and lifting the center up a bit? When you get these done, I would love to hear your thoughts on how well the center matches the mains. Should, but that center variation was never listened to together before in the same place.

That TV you see in the temporary pic will end up on the stand I built for the living room, come the middle of April when the TV in the living room ends up on-wall. The center will then end up on a small stand and be angled slightly.

Currently I have the towers facing straight ahead, all baffles in alignment, and the sound is absolutely SEAMLESS. Even with the center on the floor.

I notice no tonal difference between the towers and the center either. It is quite the show with these.

I am dying to run audyssey and calibrate and get a REAL good listen in. I haven't had the opportunity to do so yet with all the honey-do items I have been taking care of on the new house along with squeezing in working out.

But like I said quickly before, for the little bit of listening I have done so far, I would have thought the Dayton WTMW center was built to go along with the Khans. I did of course implement cjd's x-over in the center, which may have a big part of it.

Any one is welcome to come by and have a listen. I am so happy I built these.

Wow those models look awesome!! And that Man Room has everything I would want in mine, except for a shuffleboard table! Now I'm feeling like it might not be enough just to build some Khans, but I'll have to build a room around them too!

            NOW you're talking.

Thanks Blink! Yeah, I'm doing the official sketchup of my poker table right now, hopefully done today. It will be 30" wide to hopefully keep the space not too crowded but still offer a nice playable surface. I'll post the new rendering when I get it done.

hmmmmm aren't shuffleboard tables like 15 or 20 ft long?

Unfortunately yes, which is why I havent built one myself yet

Are you going to be building the cabinet for the Galaga game, or are you buying it? I would love to see a build thread on one of those :B

                YESSIR!! Of course!

No doubt there will be a full on build thread. I haven't seen a fantastic build thread on one yet, so hopefully I can fulfill that niche.

There will also be one on my poker table.

Well, crank it up and maybe Gollum could say "Rawwww and wrrriggglinggg" about the room.

I know how much work went into those, and it looks awesome even though you can't tell.

To keep from cluttering up the Wavecor Ardent thread more than I already have, I am starting a new thread. This project has been evolving in my mind for quite a while, torn between my modest means and desire for something like the Wavecor Ardents. It will take a while, but hopefully I will have 4...

I built a set of Khanspires for my theater mains and they are awesome. Thank you to everyone here who helps beginners like me be able to build speakers of a high quality that I would otherwise never have the chance to own. Special thanks to CJD and ---K--- for taking the time to help me decide on the...

Dipole surrounds to match Khanspires / NatPs?

Hi there - long time listener, first time caller.

I'm planning to build a 7.1 set of speakers using the fabulous Khanspires for mains, the Khancenter and either Neatos or Nat Ps for rear surrounds.

I've always disliked being able to localise side surrounds and would really...

I have been lurking around on this site for a few months now and it is a great forum. I'm in the process of building the In-Khan-Neatos and I would like to build the Khanspires, I would still need a center channel but the Khancenter looks a little small as a cc compared to the mains. so I'm looking...

I have been quietly lurking and reading here on and off for a few years, but post rarely. My initial plan was to build the Statements along with the accompanying center and surrounds, but due to placement issues in my particular room, I do not think that this will be possible. I am looking now more...
