dvd 995 problems

i hope someboby can help:

i have recently tried to play a copy dvd in my player.
as soon as it loaded it went crazy.

the unit will not play any normal dvds.

the message region code error occurs on screen.

i have tried to reset the unit by holding down play and open while switching power on and pressing vss button. this did not work if there is anybody out their that can help i would be most grateful.

Carry on guys... back to the topic at hand, may I suggest unplugging the player for a few minutes and see if that helps?
