    Rotel RDV-995 Help!

    I have moved from New York, USA to Taipei, Taiwan. The region code on my RDV-995 is 1. I need to change it to 3. Does anyone know the programming to set this unit to Region 3? Is it possible to reset back to 1 for USA DVD playing? A HiTech audio dealer said it can be made to Region 0, to solve my problems. Does any forum members know how to do this?

      You need a special adapter that allows you to connect your computer to a 2 pin jack inside of the RDV-995. You also need a special program from Rotel that connects to the 995 and then allows you to change the region. As far as I know it can only be done by the Rotel service center in Mass.

          It can be done, since European versions were all code free.

          You need to find a tech support or call the disctibutor and see what he can do for you.
