    RA-01 Blown Fuse

I blew a fuse in my Rotel RA-01 the other day. Being that I got the amp as a graduation present and of course the person who gave it to me no longer has the receipt, I decided to try and fix it myself. Today I opened it up and found the bad fuse. On it, it reads "T4L 250V." Does that mean I'm looking for a 4 amp, 250V replacement? Also, I'm assuming it's a fast blow fuse? Thanks in advance for any help!

    T4L 250V is a 4amp 250V slow blow (T stands for time delay).

Thank-you so much for your quick response! Good thing I didn't go out and buy a fast blow.

Just keep in mind it may not just be the fuse.. Be ready to pull the plug if other things start smoking (though it should blow the fuse again.)

          LOL...I'll keep that in mind.

BTW: I should have mentioned this before, but it's only the right channel that stopped working. I was A/B'ing two sets of speakers I was building to see which crossover I preferred, and boom...the right channel just went out.

I stupidly blew a fuse in my RA-02 amp. I've taken off the cover, located the fuse in question and just wanted to make sure that the new fuse I have bought has the right spec.

            The RA-02 takes a T4A 250v fuse. I've just picked up a '4A 250v' fuse. How important is the T ?! Will the 4A...

Power cord unfortunately wiggled loose and fuse on top of power board nearest the rear on/off switch tapped out this week.

Don't have a magnifying glass to hand (wheres a box of cracker jack when you need one ?!? ) so can anyone confirm the requisite rating/values I need to hunt...

I replaced the main temp switch for that fans on my 1067 and after testing it with a heat gun (fans kicked on, then kicked off as they should after I turned the heat gun off.) the sensor slipped out of my fingers and touched something popping the 2a 250V fuse. Now the moment the main power switch is...
