    Got my 1056 ver. 1.1.6 & RR-1070

    Today i got my 1056 after alot of reading on this site.
    I just saw that my 1056 has firmware ver. 1.1.6 :LOL:
    Is there anyone who was a rotel RR-1070 remote ? and if is it good ?
    I wan't the RR-1070 remote because of the look of the remote.
    (RR-1070 is the standard remote for RSDX-02 DVD receiver)

                  Thanks will do....I have heard a lot of people talk about the hiss in the back....Mine doesn't do that...I must be one lucky salami!

                  What is the latest firmware ? Is it 1.1.6 ?

                          Welcome to the club.Sorry to hear about your hissss problem,I got it in all speakers in stereo,and have NOT had any luck in info or getting this resolved.I sent a detailed explanation to Rotel and they sent back a message saying"we have tested the 1056 and have not found any issues".I have heard 16 units,ALL with the hiss,most units just recieved by the dealers.

                                  In Denmark the dealers have a price on 1695 kr (~260 $) for the RR-1070.
                                  There is a page about it in danish

                                      Nice to see your 1056 has arrived. I am however still waiting for my 1068. Dit you see the 1068 at your dealer ?

                                      It seems that there are still quite a few 1066's left in Europe, so the 1068 is will not sell untill they are mostly gone :-(

                                          no my dealer don't have any 1068.
                                          I just saw that my 1056 came with a firmware cabel is this normal ?
