rsp-1069 setup screen

I just opened my new pre-amp, the rsp-1069. I'm attempting to get to the system setup screens, but it does NOT display. When I push the Menu button on the remote, nothing happens. When I change the volume, I see it display on the TV monitor, if I push the Guide button or the Sub button on the remote, I see single line items on the bottom of the screen. But, when I push the Menu button, I see nothing. I cannot configure the system. When I first turn the rsp-1069 on, the system screen displays the status on the TV screen, then after about 1 second, it goes away.

How can I make this work? How can I configure the system?

Hmm.. I normally say make sure to hit the AUD button first, but if the sub button is working you're in AUD mode.

Since you get get status screen on start-up, you can hit the enter/ok button while it's on to get to the menu.

It turns out that it was pretty strange. I tried what you suggested and it didn't do anything. I had to hold down the AUD button for 3 seconds. Once I did that, everything worked perfectly.
