Pairing the Pre\Pro RSP-1098 with Classe 2200 Delta

    Hello Everyone,

I need some advise if my processor will pair nicely with the new Classe 2200 amps? Has anyone else have paired these two together? Currently, I am using 2 x RMB 1095 amps to power my HT. I have my whole front stage bi-amped driving my Paradigm Signature 8's and C5, the remaining channels are pushing 4 x Paradigm Studio's ADP 590. Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated!

    Thanks
    Russ.

I think it would sound great adding a CA-2200 to that system. One of the guys I work with has an RSP-1069, RMB-1085, and Paradigm Signature S4s and he took a CA-2200 home for a weekend a short time ago. He thought the CA-2200 worked very well with his system. He loved the CA-2200. The tweeters on the Signature Series Paradigm are very good and the CA-2200 opened his speakers up and the soundstage was huge. Just my (and his) two cents.

Looks like I can tie Eric's experience and your situation together

Right now I have a RMB-1085 and a RMB-1095 and have extensively tested them up against one another with a RSP-1068. I have concluded the sound quality is nearly identical. The 1095, as expected, could get much louder than the 1085 (the 1095 on volume 62 on my RSP-1068 is like the 1085 on volume 70). I never pushed the limits of how loud they could get, but I think the difference in volume numbers is a good indication...

So, what I am trying to say is Eric's experience with the CA-2200 with a RMB-1085 should be very similar to the CA-2200 with a RMB-1095. The 1095 will give you more headroom though.

If you can try it before you buy it I would highly recommend it! Classe equipment is expensive and you always need to keep in mind the law of diminishing returns

        Cheers!

          CA-2200 bias
          by aarsoe
          Hi

Does anyone have any experiences with having their CA2200 sent in for a bias adjustment?
Reason I ask is that the one I have purchased some time ago seems to sound a bit leaner that the loaner unit I had at my house for a couple of weeks.
          Have always suspected that this...

          Upgrading from Paradigm Reference to B&W . . .
          by NMG
Hi everyone, I'm hoping you can guide me a little bit here. I'm currently looking at whether to get into 5.1 or upgrage my current 2 channel system. I'm looking at B&W speakers for my possible 2 channel system upgrade and I thought perhaps you could share some of your expertise.

          Paradigm PW-2200 vs Paradigm Servo 15 . . .
          by NMG
Just wondering if anyone has done a head to head comparision of these two subs, especially for music? I currently have the 2200 and was wondering if the Servo 15 would be a noticeable upgrade, especially considering the price premium?

I'm currently running one PW-2200 along with my Paradigm...

          Paradigm Reference Sub 12
          by NMG
          Hi folks,

Has anyone had the chance to audition the Paradigm Reference Sub 12? I'm considering it as a replacement for my Paradigm PW-2200 to be paired with my B&W 703's for 2 channel and HT duties. I suspect I'd keep the 2200 and run it as a secondary sub for HT as well.
