    RSX-1057 Problem

    Hallo,

    i am new here.

    I have here a used RSX-1057. The Problem is no Sound from the Digital inputs. Only Multi input and analog Bypass works. The inputs are correkt setting.(Video1 on Optical1) Optical and Coaxial dont works.

    The Speaker Test Tone dont work. (no Tone)

    Anyone a idea ?

          i have try Factory Reset, but it not change anything.

              You have perfectly described a bad DSP board. Time to get sent off for repair.

                  My RSX-1055 sometimes reset to factory default preset, so I must reenter the parameters again.
                  I sent to Rotel service and after a month they returned me with no problem verification.
                  Anyone knows this problem?

                  My wife woke me up last night around 10:00pm talking about the receiver is acting weird.

                  After looking at it, it looks like it might have gone back to the default factory settings!

                  I am stunned and don't want to think about the time spent setting it up.

                  I just got myself a shiny new RSP 1068 with the latest(1.1.7) firmware and it seems to be playing up.

                  I've reset it to factory defaults and gone into the 'speaker setup' and set 'center back' to 'none', but when I press menu, the 'system status' screen shows CB1...

                  Rear channel trouble.....

                  My RSP-1068 seems to have trouble with the rear right channel in surround modes. The volume level has seem to drop way off during surround play and test tone's. I have move the cables and confirmed it isn't the amp but am perplexed as to what it could be. I also did a reset of factory default settings...
