Just run a set of RCA cables from the second output of the RC995 to the inputs on the sub. Your sub should have a volume and crossover to help blend it into your main speakers.

      Noob with a sub-woofer question.

      Hi!
Thanks for taking time to read my post. I am building a house, and in it will be a home theater. My low voltage guy installed the wiring, and told me my sub woofer outlets would be coax. Well, my existing out of the box HT system has a regular powered sub, connecting with speaker wire. How...

      Rotel RSX-972 / RB980BX combo (review)
      by Gdbeck
      Great Budget Combo....
I used to be a stero junkie, must have owned 25-30 different stereo systems always looking for that perfect sound. That was until I found Rotel and specifically the RB980BX poweramp (which goes ever so well with my Newform Research Ribbon speakers). This setup met all...

      by Gdbeck
Just to be on the safe side before I do this.....
I going to connect my stereo Rotel poweramp up to my Rotel RSX-972 (front speakers only). I have connected the poweramp to the Rotel line out front jacks. My question is this. Since I no longer need amplification from the Rotel front amplifiers...

      by luszer
Interested if anyone has an RB1080 or 991 teamed up with either RC1070 or older pre-amp such as RC995. In doing research, a used RC955 costs about same as a new RC1070. Wait are the differences and sonic characters on either pre-amp? Any info greatly appreciated. Tyring to make a hard decision on investing...

      Connecting 2 subwoofers?
      by ron
Heres a basic question - I am building a new system, probably gonna get an Onkyo 703 and I am buying new speakers. I have an old 10in sub, can I connect that to the new sub that I am going to buy, so I will have 2 subs working. How do you do that and can you mix and match subs??

      Tha...
