Owned several Denon AVRs and looking to move into a better place for HT and music. My neighbor as a used 1056 about 1 year of age in great shape for a little less than 1K. I would like to move to separates at some point and wanted know if the 1056 is a good start? AVR now and add AMP as required. My other thought was a much older Rotel pre/pro combo like a RSP985/RB985. I can pick these up at audiogon for about the same price. Speaker setup is NHT SB2s in med size room. Need some advice, any thoughts? Thanks...
Newbe to Rotel/used 1056 a good start?

by GdbeckGreat Budget Combo....
I used to be a stero junkie, must have owned 25-30 different stereo systems always looking for that perfect sound. That was until I found Rotel and specifically the RB980BX poweramp (which goes ever so well with my Newform Research Ribbon speakers). This setup met all...-
