    RB-930AX Power Switch "pop"

Hello, I am new to club rotel. I recently purchased an RB-930AX and RB-970BX amps to bi-amp my mains and they both sound great the only issue is when I power up the 930, the speakers "pop" but they don't with the 970. So is this normal for a 930 or is there something I can do to fix it? Any input from someone who owns/owned this amp will be greatly appreciated.

I have had amps in the past that had slight pops when powered up and I think that it can be normal as long as it is not extremely loud and possibly damaging to the speaker.

Well it's not a loud "thud" because the amp only powers the mids/tweeters but it's not quite faint either. So what could cause it in some amps and not others?

Mechanical switches, relay contacts can get "dirty". There are some very good contact cleaners on the market that can remedy most instances of this.

          RB970BX Amplifier
          by MeAN
Hello everybody, first post here!
I am the proud owner of a couple of vintage Rotels, the RA1312 and RT1024, and I recently decided to taste a bit of the Rotel's more modern amplifiers' line.
My decision was for the RB970Bx (1994, 60Wx2) that I got rather cheap.
          Now my...

Question for owners of the RB970BX
          by Ray
          Hi,

I'm trying to help a friend of my (by phone) who is blind. He bought an second hand RB970BX and wants to know how the 4 speaker terminal posts on the rear panel are implemented.
Can somebody tell me, when you are looking at the rear panel, what is the red/black order (I think...

Thought I’d throw this out to you guys before I most likely have to take my 1066 to be serviced. Boy, is this ever frustrating
What is newly happening is a quick thud noise coming from either SUB1 or SUB2 preout, which is heard every time you change inputs. It also gives the same quick...

This exchange, which I would have linked except that the way frames are used on their site hides URLs, says it all. From 105 lb. to 46 lb. (8008X5 to 2005, 5 ch. amp; both 200 w/ch)

Geez, folks. This makes me a little angry, when I think about it for very much. The new 2002, rated...

          Remote amps with multi circuits?
          by Rolyasm
I am looking to put some pro amps through a wall behind my home theater components, into another room where they will be out of reach, out of sound. I hear some people say that you have to turn these pro amps on and off, manually, every time. I may also be running some extra dedicated 20 Amp circuits...
