    Thanks for the pictures Danam.

I have a question though. On the one picture with the big screen, what's the story of all those speakers? Just curious.

well the "show" happened in a reseller's store, and we were in his "hi-end" auditorium, these speakers are the medium range speakers you can listen too with any electronics plugged.
so the customers can choose their entire system from the pre-amp to the power amp to the speakers and mix everything ...
somtimes u can hear them complain about how tight their are in this room but when feed by good electronics, they calm down immediatly !

The 1098 shares the same chassis size as the RSX1055

Hey Scarp, nice tower rack. Did you make that yourself or did you buy it? If you bought it, what is the name of the manufacturer? I need something identical to this because it seems adjustable and it looks sharp. Please advise.

                Thanks....

Wow Scarp that's a nice rack! Can you give us some info on this beauty? Price, name, is it possible to order it on the net? With all those Rotel, it's an awesome eye-candy!

                  Thank you.
To spend more $$$ on electronics without first addressing room acoustics is fruitless IMO.

The rack has one big open space for a RMB1095

Its a Finite Elemente Spider Rack. http://www.finite-elemente.de (english version available). I have no idea if its for sale in north america.
Its a pretty cool rack and high quality (but expensive).

Sorry guys for this thread, but I cant seem to PM message on a person that I want. This is for ylim though.
ylim since we are from the same country, theres a few question on where you got your 1098, the shop name and how much you got it in Singapore dollars. I've owned a 1066 and have thought about upgrading to 1098.

                              Hi Zeppelin,

Would say that the 1098 is a big upgrade especially on the HT side, though it takes some time to burn in and seems sensitive to interconnects (even powercords), so need to spend quite a bit of time tweaking. In my system, it seems to sound a bit brighter than the 1066, but maybe because the processors resolve a lot more detail, especially on the rear channels - may be something to bear in mind if your system/room are on the bright side already. I've managed to get mine to sound warmer byswitching some interconnects, isolation for the components etc, but it does take time and effort (and maybe some money!).

I'll send you an e-mail - assume the e-mail address in your profile is correct.

Review: Rotel RSP1098 versus Parasound Halo C1 (side by side) updated
                                by misterdoggy
Well I have both the RSP1098 and C1 side by side and I have had the C1 a full week and have played CD, DVD, Satellite TV's and am ready to give a general comparison of strengths and weaknesses.

COMPARING the CD source in Stereo the sound on the Halo was was much richer than the Rotel....

                                JC-2 remote volume control?

I would appreciate feedback from JC2 owners as to whether it is easy to make fine adjustments to the volume using the remote, or whether the adjustments tend to be too coarse or overshoot the intended change.

(I love my JC-1's, but I'm inclined to buy a preamp with digital volume control...

I like to share some of recent experience with my new 3D TV setup with my current Rotel RSP1098/RMB1095 setup. I am hoping this information is useful for anyone with the same configuration out there that are interested to take the 3D plunge.

I love home theatre. music etc, but am not very technical, so have had a problem that I can not solve - I am sure it is quite simple, but would appreciate some help from members.

I want to adjust the levels of each of the channels, and looked in the manual how to do it. I tried to put...
