Hi all,
Since I'm considering the upgrade to an RDV-1060, I was hoping to recieve some feedback on the following:
A quote from the (online) RDV-1060's manual:
A set of RCA jacks, labeled AUDIO OUTPUT sends either six channels of decoded analog audio or two channels of analog audio from the RDV-1060 to the analog audio inputs of an audio surround processor, preamplifier, integrated amplifier...
Questions:
Is it possible to use the stereo analog outputs when playing CD's, and use the six analog outputs for DVD-A, without having to change the output mode in the setup menu?
Or is the signal comming out of the front left and front right channels of the six analog outputs identical to the signal coming out of the stereo analog outputs when playing CD's?
I believe the way the manual puts it, one has to either select the stereo or the six channel analog outputs and, in doing so, deactivate one of them...
Thanks in advance and best wishes for 2005 to you all!
