Using the RB1070 to drive a pair of Vandersteen 3A Signatures is heavenly. The 1070 is under appreciated IMHO. Though it is only rated at 130 watts/ch at 8 ohms, it certainly provides more than enough umph for my needs.

philly boy has my vote as well...the RB1070 is the most under appreciated power amp....

what I gather here is that members of the rotel club are most probably members of the B&W clan...???

          I have Boston Acoustic VR2 speakers....FANTASTIC SPEAKER!!!!

I've been auditioning their VR1 speaker for the last couple of weeks...amazing....!! all I can say...one problem I have with my speakers though is their build quality....the sound rather hollow when you knock on the cabinet....this is to me the only short coming....also, they aren't the most good looking either....but that does'nt matter...

I'm in the process of acoustically conditioning my listening room and these speakers are being brought to life by a RB1070......
          Regards :T,

Glad you like the Rotels. Just got Krell 300, bi-wired with 4 MIT cables, and Shunygata wall outlets. Changed from a 100 watt Krell. BIG DIFFERENCE!!

I have Rotel bridged channel amp for my surrounds and center. Had a Rotel phono preamp, but just upped to an Audio Research, and will be getting a VPI Scoutmaster Plus with a Lyra Helikon SL cartridge. With my current equipment, and old VPI HW, the vinyl sound is great. Can't wait for the new 'table.

                    Thyname,
Totem Forrest is around 3,000 to 3,500 depending on color. I think it is in the same price with B&W 703. I got mine used around half price (totem forrest). However, I will soon replace RC-1070 with Musical Fidelity or PLinius pre-amp. MF integrated amp A5 sounds pretty darn good with Totem Forrest and it is the one i target to as well.

Rotel 1095, Treble and Klipsch Speakers?
                        by rushisrighton
Aussie Geoff has split this out from the 7 Channel 1097 Thread as it deserves separate answers....

I really appreciate the answers from you guys so far.

I keep hearing that the rotel amps are soft on the top end, not very detailed in the highs. I'm sure that no matter what...

Copper Cats vs. Silver Cats for Klipsch speakers
                        by Danbry39
I'm going to be ordering three pairs of new audio interconnects soon. What I've heard is that silver is bad for Klipsch speakers in that it accentuates the bright nature of the speakers. In other words, would the Coppercats be better for me?

Another question, I'd want three of one length...

                        My review of Rotel RB-1090
                        by KathyMason
I did this review for the Klipsch forum of how wonderful
the Klipsch RF-7 and Rotel RB-1090 sound together.
The Rotel RB-1090 is a superb amp with the Klipsch
RF-7. Klipsch are very revealing speakers with any
shotcomings from an amp and the Klipsch will let you
                        know...

Rotel and Klipsch a good match?
                        by MattCXII
                        Hey,

Currently I am running a RSP 1066 and an RMB 1075. I want to match them with a set of the Klipsch Reference Series speakers.

Here would be what I would buy...

                        RF-35 - Fronts
                        RC-35 - Center
                        RS-35 - Surrounds
                        RSW-12 - Sub....
