    Remote 1050

    Hi guys,
    I was hit somes button on my remote and now the remove's acting weir. The volumn up & down does not work and the mute show empty instead of ON or OFF. I removed the battery overnight and it's still the same.
    Please help

      Hello,

      You could try and push (with a tip of a ballpoint pen) the "PRELOAD" button. That should restore the remote to its original factory programming.

      Hey, it's all on page 14 in the remote's manual, do read to learn exactly what it does.

              Owners Manuals for many of the remotes (including the RR-1050) are on the Rotel website along with the manuals for the components.

                  I have a RSP 1068 and the remote RR 1050.
                  But I have a problem with the RR 1050.

                  If I press a button on the remote, the display of the RR 1050 turn off.
                  There is no reaction on the RSP 1068.

                  I dropped my RR 1050 remote the other night.. 8O It still works however there is a chunk of plastic that broke off on the front where you point the remote at the processor.

                  I was wondering if a little model glue wouldnt hurt to keep the piece from falling out? Any suggestions to repair...
