I have a Comcast Motorola 6412 DVR and Sharp 37" LCD and the Rotel 1056 receiver. I would like to be able to turn on the cable box and tv simultaneously using the Rotel remote 1050. Do any of you know how this is done, ie. program the remote to turn on these two devices at the same time? Thanks for your help!

...has anyone noticed that when playing a CD in the 1050, when the skim left button is pressed, it first jumps ahead about 20 seconds in the song before starting to skim backwards? Anyone else have this problem? Anyone have a unit that does NOT do this?

Just curious if anyone else has experienced the same glitch as I have with the RT-1080 tuner + 1068 remote (RR-1050). I don't suspect there is any fix for it, but doesn't hurt to ask.
I blank out the display of the RT-1080 tuner by holding down the "display" button on the tuner...
