    Rotel 1050 Simultaneously Power on TV and Cable Box

    I have a Comcast Motorola 6412 DVR and Sharp 37" LCD and the Rotel 1056 receiver. I would like to be able to turn on the cable box and tv simultaneously using the Rotel remote 1050. Do any of you know how this is done, ie. program the remote to turn on these two devices at the same time? Thanks for your help!

      You can setup up macros using the 'M' button. By the time you get it setup though, you will probably have more buttons to press to activate it rather than 'cable-power, tv-power'

      It's in the manual how to utilize the 'M' macro button.
