Need quick advice DM602 S3 or 685 for bedroom stereo + ASW610 setup

As topic says I need quickly choose between those two sets.

There is no other option. Both are used ones. Both have similar specs. DM602 S3 is older one but with larger mid/bass speaker therefore lower distortions at lower frequencies - I believe it's 1% < @60Hz and up and with 685's it will be something about 110Hz.

If you are using a sub anyway, go for the 685 as it is a better speaker IMO and you won't need to worry about bass too much with the sub

Well, it is the newer model and that normally means an improvement is made. I haven't compared them directly but the 685 were one of the best in their class when they came out

How to configure two 685's with an ASW610?
            by hyperchaotic
            Hi All,

I'm coming from a setup with just two DALI 7a's before, no sub - and a straightforward old Marantz RS5000 amp :-)

Due to moving countries I lost that, so I went and got a nice (sounding) pair of 685's and my very thoughtful wife recently gifted me with a ASW610...

            Please Help: HTM61 or 62 with 685?
            by frog2frog
            Hi All

I am a newbie with speakers. I am planing to get the B&W685 for my L&R ASW610 for sub, but not sure which centre (HTM61 or 62) to match it with.

I know B&W suggest using HTM62 with the 685. In terms of spec, the HTM61 has the FST midrange and it goes...

I'm buying a home theater for my bedroom. The room is small. I want to buy something that will also satisfy me for just listening to music. At the moment I've set my eye on:

            Energy RC10 fronts
            Energy Mini center
