No. But it is wood. although kind of thin. Read "Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance". It will put you in the right sort of philosophical headspace for doing the unthinkable. (ie the guys BMW motorcycle in the book, its just a lump of metal and plastic, you can change it if you want to)
Alternately, pay a cabinet maker to refinish the speakersMac 8gb SSD Audirvana ->Weiss INT202 firewire interface ->Naim DAC & XPS2 DR->Conrad Johnson CT5 & LP70S-> Vivid B1s. Nordost Valhalla cables & resonance management. (Still waiting for Paul Hynes PS:M)

Depending on the colour you want a safe but costly option may be to trade them for another colour. Good opportunity to thin kabout upgrading too. :lol:Originally posted by wettouI would like to change the color of my 803 and have been thinking of refinishing the color but am afraid of doing so? It will kill the resale value, but if its what you want its your speaker
People want stock perfect pieces not redone, makes them ask why anyone would touch them- Bottom

seems like it would be a real pain, especially around the drivers, if you do it professionally, i would cost you as much to refinsh as selling off your speakers and paying for shipping on a pair in the finish you prefer, should be a lateral move on the speakers themselves, then if you ever sell the replacement pair you haven't shot your resale value- Bottom

by gostan804's were on my listening agenda today, but a newer salesperson at Natural Sound advised me that an upgrade from my 7NT's to 803's might be the last upgrade I would require for some time. I listened to various music for about two hours and I must agree that my initial impression is that the $1500.00...-

by aud19I've got a NEC MultiSync FP955 monitor at work that seems to only have 9300k colour profiles available (I tried their web page and even their telephone tech-service :? ). I'm wondering if anyone knows where I could find a nice 6500k icc/icm colour profile from? Should I just use the standard "SRGB"...26 March 2004, 14:40 Friday -
by WelshOneThe 803D and 805S I have on home demo right now are apparently 3/4 years old. The driver on the 803D is quite a goldish brown in most lighting conditions?
I will have to buy a new centre, and I am a touch concerned about a potential colour mismatch?
Is this something to...-
