I currently use a RSX-1056 to drive my 804s front, can someone help me out to understand what I gain from adding a power amp to my system? Also, I am interest to know RMB-1077 or RMB-1075 is a better amp? Thanks.

As you can see I am pretty new here, but not new to B&W speakers since I owned a couple of these (p6, 601s3). I also listend (dreweled) enough at the 804/802/800 in my audio shops. Since i didnt feel the 804 was worth the investment over my old p6 I never got them.

I have a RB976 6 channel amp

It drives my M&K k17's and K4's all of which are rated at 4 ohm.
The amp's specs are rated at 4 ohm and it is very clear the amp should and can drive 4 ohm speakers on all channels.... -
Was wondering if anyone can any insights on the carver amps especiallly sound wise warm, bright etc..I was thinking of adding a rotel amp down the road but saw how budget minded these amps were.How would they do with b&w 603s3 and a rotel rsx1056.Or should i just wait until i can afford a rotel...
