    Spike plates/discs (for 802D)

We'll be spiking the 802Ds and putting the speakers on solid marble floors.
Anyone have any simple and good looking spike PLATES they've used to
rest the spikes on so not to damage the floor. I saw some from sound
anchor but they are not quite as good looking... perferably something
black or metal to blend with the spike and become somewhat unnoticeable.

    Tks!!!

      David,

I looked at that link... I didn't see anything that has to do with spike discs.
Could you link me to what you were looking at?

      Tks.

        Try this link

If it doesn't work look on the Product Locator half way down the left hand side of the page. They are listed quite near the bottom. My one's don't have the writing on them.

I don't actually have my 802D's yet...have been ordered but am waiting for building work to finish. Get them in a month! I will go with the B+W's. They are currently use with my HNE stands which are spiked, no problem at all.

              800 Diamond Spike kit flaw
              by windshear
Today i finally decided to put my diamonds onto the spikes. It turned out to be a fruitless mission. Not one of the spikes adapter plates would align into the screw holes. The castors fit perfectly. It appears the holes on the spike adaptor plate are incorrectly positioned, basically too close to...

Need floor spike solution for N802 and ASW4000
              by digitalman
I have B&W Nautilus 802's and an ASW4000 Sub and am looking for floor spike solutions for them both. B&W no longer supplies feet or spikes for these and could not even tell me how tell the feet are supposed to be for the sub.

The 802 has metal plates with a roller wheel on the...

Any point in buying the spike kit for 800Ds?
              by JargonGR
I have placed my 800D speakers on thick Granite plates but I left them with the roller balls they came with. Is it worth it both the trouble and cost to put the optional spikes on them or is it just placebo?

I do not want them to get any higher than they are now since they are already...

              Do you spike?
              by RebelMan
I haven't spiked my B&W's yet but I have every intension too. The primary reason having to do with the added control I will have adjusting the axial position of the drivers relative to my seated position. The coupling effects are secondary but I am sure are no less beneficial. Some recent discussions...

to spike 803S or not to spike 803S
              by ninja12
I have my HTS set up in my basement. The is cement with carpet on top of the cement. I was wondering if I should spike my 803S. I'm concerned about the spikes making contact, through the carpet, to the cement floor can causing a negative impact to the sound. Is it ok to spike them or should I just...
