Hello all, i've been reading the forums the last couple of days and I'm loving what you guys have to offer here. I'm now debating between the Natalie P and the Mini statement for my HT setup. I know that the Natalie P is much simpler to build but would I be begging for more in the future???

Phil's build thread, split from the big BG Ribbons thread.
Edit by moderator This build is unique and interesting. So it didn't get lost in the shuffle posts about it were split from the massive 'BG ribbons Part 27 thread'.
That looks intriguing chasw98. I'm taking a slightly different approach. This is just a prototype without an array but it's...- Bottom

My shortcut to glossy black
I wanted to post a few words about how I am accomplishing glossy black on my speakers now. When trying to achieve this by hand, I had a really tough time finishing my Statements. Before starting that project, I scoured the Internet looking for a glossy black shortcut but came up dry. So after all the...

Completed Build Thread - North Seas 8" 2-way
--SEAS Prestige P21RF/P (H511) 8" Poly Cone
--North D2506-S tweeter.
--Box Volume (approximate 55l)
--F3 (Approximate)35hz
Both of the drivers may or may not be in spec forever. If the north goes out I am sure the Seas T27 series tweeters would provide a good match....- Bottom

BAMTM build thread
was ordering my goodies when I got to the tweeters I noticed madi is out of them. I am correct in assuming they are just out of stock and will get more in? SEAS Prestige 27TBFC/G madi part number H1212 is the correct tweeter right? any insight or alternate vendors would be appriciated.

I'm on the quest to build the mini statements and statement center. Already placed my order for the speakers and crossover parts but I had forgotten about some of the items (port parts, foam, etc.) but I had a few questions before I place the 2nd order:

New Home for the BG Ribbons - Part 27
Newbee here - or better stated, Oldbee reawakened. Finally getting around to finalizing my new living room and its long neglected a/v, I have decided to build a line array. Starting with "A New Home for the BG Ribbons" from 2002 ( https://www.htguide.com/forum/archiv...php/t-3311.htm...- Bottom

A crappy old sub is reborn...
So I had this old Yamaha sub... 8" driver, 3" x 6" port, about .75 cu ft, with a 50 watt (claimed) plate amp... it sucked. Distorted at the slightest provocation, and overall had all the sonic glory of a wet fart.
The good thing about it is that it was a nicely constructed...- Bottom
