Picked up a Motorola DCT6200 today to hook up to my X1.HDTV looks very good even when scaled down by the X1.We just need more HD programing.

Yup,you can input a HD signal to the X1.You just need to get the HD-15 to component adapter from Infocus (mine cost about $20 Canadian)they call it the Component to VESA adapter.My DCT6200 is set to 16:9 at 1080i.(you can also choose 720p or 480p) the X1 scales the image down to 800X450 but it still looks very good.On the Computer input the X1 shows the input signal as 1080i.Shaw cable is my HD provider.The Tonight Show looks excellent and you can switch between the channel that broadcasts it in HD and the channel that is not HD to see the difference.Last edited by Claude D D; 06 May 2004, 02:02 Thursday.- Bottom
