    Component to Scart

    Here is my problem:

1)My DVD player does not have Scart connection.
2)My TV does not have component connection.

    Has anyone used these cables:

or anything else with satisfactory results ??

    Thanks.

      George,

I already found out that those cables only work on Loewe sets.

I am surprised that the European version of the GWII 50XBR800 (it is called GW 50SX200 over here) does not have a single component input, especially when it costs over 6 grand.

I am now looking at a "YUV to RGB decoder" from Cypress Technologies.

      Here is a link: http://www.cypress.com.tw/product.php?PId=59364&CId=007&CName=Video%20Proces sors&SR=1

      Tornini.

PS: Thanks for the welcome !!!

Rotel 1066 component video setup problem
        by mattstacey
        Hi guys,

I just replaced my Denon 3802 with a Rotel 1066 yesterday, hooked up to a Rotel 1075 amp. I haven't had much of a chance to listen to it yet but so far it sounds awesome.

I have a problem with my video connections though. I had no problems with the Denon 3802 so...

Problem with RDV 1060 and SCART
        by Marcel54
I have a complete Rotel set up (RSP1098, RDV1060, RB1080 and RMB1095) and I'm almost completely happy. But I do have a problem. Due to my TV I'm using the SCART connection from my DVD to my TV and there lies the problem. If my DVD is set to SCART my TFT from my RSP1098 is only monochrome (so no colours...

        RSP-1068 component video problems
        by hired goon
        G'day,

I'm having problems with the component input/output of my RSP-1068.

I finally bought a TV that has component input. I connected my set-top box to the TV via component, and got a great image without any problems after one hour of use. Next I connected the DVD player...

I hooked the cable box directly to component input 1 on the tv, and and the component out of the 1066 to the tv's component input 2. Then I connected the Xbox and dvd player to...
