Very nice, Andrew.
I still love the built-in look for your components. I think I may copy that at my next house.

Mark the maggies were traded for the Energy's I have now. I really loved the way the maggies sounded in my old apartment with its hard walls but they sounded muffled in the new HT room and they weren't producing the SPL's that I wanted so I made the switch to the Energy's. The 2+2's sound similar to the maggies in some ways but the air of the planners is gone...though that's what was missing when I tried the maggies in the new room anyway. I guess its part of the comprimse between the perfect HT room with all the room treatments vs the ideal music room.

I really like the way the room is configured. You know you are poised for FRONT PROJECTION with this set-up, don't you ? Way to go.

If the maggies don’t work then they got to go. For HT the Energies might give you more punch than the maggies. Obviously you have done your homework. The Apogee speakers that I have are great for music but I think they are not the best for HT.
With the newer DLPs being smaller brighter and generally better I think FP is very doable in your room- Bottom

by zmanbandsI have a low usage 1090. Normally in the standby mode the power button is out and all lights are out. When you push the button in to power up, 3 lights go on and in a few seconds two go out leaving the 3rd light on to show the power is on. Well yesterday that 3rd power on light stayed on regardless...-

...somebody dies.
This perplexing little film is based on a short story by Richard Matheson and is something I would have expected to see on the old Rod Serling Twilight Zone TV series. It stars Cameron Diaz and James Marsden as a husband and wife presented with a unique problem after...-

by Chris DCan you stand a little flattery here? I've just got to say, I've recently begun to appreciate HTGuide as an A/V discussion forum more than ever. I lurk and post on a few other forums as well, and recently they've taken a noticeable turn with moderation and participation, and it's gotten confusing and... -
by LexGuys, he gave a lot to Rotel here, effectively starting the club. But Andrew has decided to move on, not from HTG, he'll still be around as moderator to answer questions in other areas, and who knows may still pop in to lend an assist in Club Rotel (I hope), but with a toddler and a new baby, as well...-

by BeerPartyFirst, a little background...
In another thread, Neo Dan complained that there had been no new designs lately. He has helped quite a few builders, so his complaint shouldn't be taken lightly. So, even though it is not quite ready yet, I'm posting up my design for review and forum use. I...-
