Can you stand a little flattery here? I've just got to say, I've recently begun to appreciate HTGuide as an A/V discussion forum more than ever. I lurk and post on a few other forums as well, and recently they've taken a noticeable turn with moderation and participation, and it's gotten confusing and a little frustrating at times. I can definitely see that it's not an easy job to be a moderator, and certain steps are necessary when people do certain things on a forum, but... well.

Lex, Andrew, et al: Thanks, guys. Keep up the good job and keep it fun to be here on this forum.

Hi, Chris. I lurk and post at one or two of the other forums, but I have to agree with your summation of them. It's always refershing to enter HT Guide and interact with the best bunch of people on the planet.

Yeah, you guys (Mats and Lex) are the greatest! :T sniff

Say, Mats - Lex, would that be "Mex"?

Seriously tho', this is the most easy-going, friendly and fun place I've ever found. Plus, having guys like Jon and Thomas (speakers), Lex (cables), Ricky (audio) and everyone, there is a LOT of expertise, and knowledge in general.

This test will cover the basic capabilities of a very inexpensive AK4490 DAC from Breeze Audio. The test sample was provided by Renron, and he's posted about this little guy in the Digital Audio section of the forum.

Please post in the correct forum
            by Andrew Pratt
I've noticed recently that quite a few of the posts being posted in Club Rotel really belong in other area's of the guide site. If you post your threads in the correct area you're more likely to have your post seen by people with the answers. For example if you're asking about buying a new remote control...

A new discussion forum, and a new Moderator!
            by Lexman
Saturday, we added a new discussion area named Tower of Power! for HTPCs and other peripheral devices. We also were very fortunate to get JonMarsh to join us at HTGuide as co-moderator of the DIY area, as well as the primary and co-moderator of the newest forum area. Canucks, welcome with a rousing...
