The TV set has for the same input three interfaces: Composite, Components and HDMI.
Most (not expensive) receivers have separate outputs of each sort but they have not conversions; therefore, if you have a few different video sources their outputs are different (the receiver outputs them through different interfaces).
Question: The system would work if ALL the outputs of the receiver are connected each one to the fitted (interface) connector/s of the same input of the TV set? Of course, the receiver selects at any time only one of the video sources! :roll:
