    Connecting a Subwoofer.

    Hi Guys,

Not sure if this is the right forum but I'm sure it will be moved if it is not! I have a NAD C 320BEE Amplifier and I would like to connect a sub woofer to it. However, the amp does not have a dedicated subwoofer connection. Is there any other way to connect a sub to an amp like this other that at speaker lever. It has pre out/main in terminals. Can these be used? Thanks in advance for the help guys :W

    Sam.

Yes it can. If you sub has low-level inputs and outputs like your amp, then just run a set of cable out to the sub and back into the amp, removing the jumpers.

If you sub only has low-level inputs, then go get some nice RCA y-cables. Two males to one female. Connect the two males in place of the jumper, this will keep the connection the jumpers made. Then you have two female plugs ready to run a cable to your sub.

Using cable jumpers with a B&W 703 speaker.
      by pbarata
As suggested by 703 manual it's recommended that one can connect both the positive and negative of the speaker cable terminals to the woofers first, or to the tweeters first, it doesn't really matter. However, if the speaker cables are connected to woofer first, I find that the sound becomes a little...

Hello, this is my first post as a new member. I want to connect my B&W ASW608 subwoofer to my NAD C326BEE integrated amp. The sub has two line-level inputs that allow it to be directly connected to an integrated amplifier. These inputs are labeled "L" and "R". The NAD has "Sub...
