    How to connect speakers properly

Im a noob when it comes to audio equipment and anything for that matter, I just wanted to know how to properly connect the jumpers on the back of my speakers. I currently run 4x805's with a HTM4S in the center. I have the front 3 connected via bi-wire cables no jumpers and I have the rears connected with regular speaker cable with the jumpers going from negative to negative and positive to positive on each with the actual cable plugged into the top positive and negative portion. Is this being done correctly?

    thanks for the help

      Hello group,

My amp that I was using to get me by until the new 1068 version comes out later in the year...has a dead left channel...forcing my upgrade issue.
(looked for a blown fuse, but not it)

I had heard 604's blowing amps...and kept the volume at most 25%,...

Using cable jumpers with a B&W 703 speaker.
      by pbarata
As suggested by 703 manual it's recommended that one can connect both the positive and negative of the speaker cable terminals to the woofers first, or to the tweeters first, it doesn't really matter. However, if the speaker cables are connected to woofer first, I find that the sound becomes a little...

      "Screws" on back of HTM7 . . .
      by NMG
      Hey everyone,

I know I'm probably not using the right term, but my HTM7 is missing two of the "screws" that screw onto the binding posts and hold the jumper bars in place. I noticed this about a month and a half ago, when I lost the signal from the tweeter. Further inspection...

      jumpers on AV-receiver
      by Arnold van Oostrum
My AV-receiver has jumpers on the backside for each channel that connects the pre-amp part with the poweramp part. If using an external poweramp, the jumper for the channel has to be removed.

These jumpers are thick metal brackets. I saw that i.e. Audioquest has specific jumpers made...

Lost my Nautilus HTM1 speaker jumpers
      by pasadena
      Hi,

I seemed to have lost my Nautilus HTM1 6" speakers jumpers and want to know if B&W sell these as a separate item since the NHTM1 is a discontinued product?

Otherwise, is anyone here willing to part with their speaker jumpers at a cost? What about third-party...
