Anyone else still waiting on the 5 free blu-ray offer?
I think I am goin on 9 weeks now, however I am sure others are waiting longer.

I got my discs within 6 weeks. I think it was actually 5 if I remember correctly. I was real impressed because my HD discs took like 12 weeks to get. They even sent me something saying that my order was delayed and to send this "cancelation" slip in if I didn't want to wait. Why the heck wouldn't I want to wait for FREE movies?!??

Anyways, yeah mine came really quickly... I would think your's should be here soon!

I sent for mine on January 7th and am still waiting. I don't expect to see them anytime soon. :x

BTW, if you sent your order to the Canadian address, here's a telephone number you can call to check on the status: 1-877-823-0804. They told me discs are on back order and there is nothing they can do about it. They are at the mercy of the distributors. I also learned that there are only13,000 or so ahead of me, so like I said, I don't expect to see them anytime soon.

I sent both the BD and the HD-DVD rebates in on 17 Jan. I got my BD's like 30 March or something. Still waiting on the HD-DVD's.

I sent my rebate in the LAST day I could have, IIRC it was the end of Feb sometime. I figured I wasn't going to get them. Thanks messy counter where I throw things of importance.

But, I received mine last week.

I was shocked by the packaging the movies came in.

All that damaging and tearing was done in the mail. :E

When I got the envelope I stood at my mailbox for a second trying to figure out what it was.

Then I stood there for a second longer in amazement of the shipping department.

The padding BTW, is old newspaper. I guess they are recycling now?

The cases weren't damaged or anything?

Cases were fine. Everything played fine.

But I am shocked they made it in one piece.

It took approximately 3 months for me to receive my BR discs. I received a letter stating that there was a shipping delay, 1 month later they arrived. I did check by calling the 800 number as well as, checking the status on line, maybe they helped.

Mine showed up today! About 9 weeks.
Totally un expected, didnt even think the packaging was going to be them, had no idea and didnt look at the lable.

It was the same packaging as above, however not looking like it was dropped off a sky scraper and run over by a street sweeper. :W


I think I got all the ones I requested, its been so long I forgot.
