    Help with settings, oppo/infocus

    Hey here is my issue, the OppO dvd player has a bunch of settings for wide not so wide and whatever else... my SP5000 also has similar settings 16:9 4:3 letterbox.... I mostly watch widescreen dvds, any thoughts on what the settings should be?

      Try these settings, this seems to be the optimal settings from what I've read. Set the oppo at to 720p, 16:9 Wide, the projector at 16:9 and utilize the DVI port (try not to exceed a 25ft run, the lower the better) to allow the oppo to upscale to 720p. You would also need to read the manual, this will help to discern the menus. There is a thread over at avsforum dedicated to this player (with over 6000 posts). Hope this helps to get you started.
