    Marantz 15 or 11

I am inclined to buy new Marantz components: integrated amp + sacd-player

there are both pm 11, pm 15 and sa 11 , sa 15,

does anyone have experience with a comparison of these things?

    Appreciate your hints!

    Hi there,

I have my SA-11S1 for about 8 months now and I can say that it's one of the best SACD/CD player at this price range. I haven't heard the 15s, but I have read that they sound very similar to the 11s. If in doubt, go for the 11s.

BTW, I have my SA11-S1 set up with Jeff Rowland Concerto Integrated and B&W 803S.

      JR Concerto Integrated -> Classe CP500 + CA3200
      by nyny
Hi all, after following this thread for some time and conducted several demo sessions, I finally decided to replace my Jeff Rowland Concerto Integrated with the Classe CP500 + CA3200 combo. I find that Classe and Jeff Rowland both has its own strengths, but the following made me switch:

Testing B&W with McIntosh & Marantz
      by audioqueso
I'm curious about a test I want to do. So I would like to get people's opinion about this test.

I have $4-5k budget that I have to improve my B&W Nautilus 805/HTM2 setup. I currently have a Marantz SR7002 AV receiver powering them.

I've been wanting to audition McIntosh...

      Marantz 8801 - setting expectations?
      by JonMarsh
When I got the email with Trond-Erik's new Pro-Pro, something about that rang a bell. The bell was related to an AV Forums post by a guy with high sensitivity speakers comparing the Benchmark AHB2 amplifier and the M22 and some other amplifiers. One of his bugaboos was output noise, and noise that could...

      Advice for good integrated
      by stevo238
I'm new to the forum today. I started auditioning integrated amps in January of this year. The usual suspects, NAD, Cambridge Audio, Marantz, Jolida, Arcam, and finally Rotel, the RA-1062 to be exact. What I liked about the Rotel was that it had a gutsy, full bodied sound compared to the NAD and CA...

Marantz CD5400 - Misfit in American Market?
      by JonMarsh
I'm asked from time to time if I have any suggestions with regards to less expensive playback sources for digital music- usually along the lines of what cheap DVD player sounds fairly decent, or if there's a low buck universal player I would recommend. Hardly anyone ever asks what's a good inexpensive...
