This is a brilliant drama/action film about the war on drugs. It raises as many questions as it provides answers. I will have to watch it again to fully understand what I saw. Highly recommended.

It is visually better on the 4k version over the standard Blueray. It is one of those movies that slowly sucks you in. Benicio del Toro always gets my attention. I sometimes re-watch The Usual Suspects just up until the end of the opening jail scene. His character in that cracks me up.

Watched this not too long ago. Enjoyed it quite a bit. To those who liked this film, I strongly recommend Hell or High Water (same screenwriter). Together, they offer interesting glimpses into life in and around Texas in the early 21st century (along with some excellent performances).
