Back to the Future Day - October 21st, 2015!

If you recall, in BTTF 2, the gang goes forward into the future. Well, from 1985 they travel 30 years in the future, and the day they arrive is October 21st, 2015.

We are upon that day! Of course, one could reflect upon everything that's depicted in the BTTF 2015, and whether it's come true or not. Flying cars, hoverboards, a baby Elijah Wood/Frodo Baggins complaining because Marty's arcade game requires the use of hands (remember that?), etc. Of course, the biggest one right now is that in the movie, the Cub win the World Series. And right now, 107 years since their last World Series win, the Cubs are in the playoffs. (a miracle in and of itself) They're one step away from the World Series. As I type this, they're tied 1-1 in game 3 of the NLCS series, down 0 games to 2, to the Mets.

Some fun events happening on "Back to the Future Day", Oct 21st, and new products being released like the movies re-released on BD. Certain theaters are also showing all three BTTF movies as a marathon on the big screen. I bought my tickets. Have fun!

Just got home from the BTTF theater marathon. Was quite fun. Too bad the Cubbies lost--that was a fun little thing.

That's awesome, Dan. And I'm astounded that Michael J. Fox is so steady! I thought he was experiencing much stronger disease effects at this point.
