Two episodes in. Loving it so far. NOT an action oriented series. Gives an account of Henry VIII's wife troubles from the POV of Thomas Cromwell. Not recommended for those who think Game of Thrones is too slowly paced and lacks violence. :W:rofl:

I watched part of the second episode last night.
I will definitely be setting my DVR to capture the rest of the series.
Never saw any of the GOT shows.
I am more of a Richard II, Richard III, Henry IV, V, VI & VIII kind of guy. : ) -
I bought the Season Pass from iTunes as I plan to show excerpts in class. Makes a nice contrast with A Man for All Seasons.Comment

Richard Wright, keyboard player and a founding member of Pink Floyd, died yesterday aged 65 after a short struggle with cancer.
In the early days of Pink Floyd, Richard Wright and Syd Barrett were the dominant musical forces in the band. Syd died last year.

I am looking at the AhTojeb4000 or the Music Hall cd25, both modified. I have the M&K 750select system, which some say may be slightly bright. Has anyone listend to both cdp? Price is a issue, I am sure there is some much nicer players, but I need to keep it under 1000.

This last year I have been picking up any albums that I find that have performances recorded at Carnegie Hall. Some have been on audiophile's best recording lists for years (Weavers Reunion, Belafonte Returns, etc.). There are recordings as diverse as Peter Paul and Mary to Lenny Bruce.
