    Hostel

Bought it on impulse due to Quentin's involvement.

It sucked. Yet another hollywood horror off the production line.
I paid $15 for it too, damn. This will be purged from my media rack next time I go on a selling frenzy.

    Poor.

    :15: out of :5:

Yeah, I haven't heard anything good about that one so far. I'm gonna stay away from it.

      Brother Nicholas,

I always rent before buying! $20 a month at Blockbuster.com has save me a few bucks. Is this DVD worth a rental? Sometimes the sound is better than the film!!

        Hostel

        Hello All,

This wasn't worth my free rental. Nicholas was right. Hopefully Blockbuster will let me exchange this DVD 2morrow?

Is it that bad? I didn't think so. Was it good? no. My wife loves the horror movies so pretty much we watch them all regardless.

Sound was real good in some spots, the positioning of the chain saw around the room was pretty precise.

To me it was kind of like "An American Werewolf" and "Saw" mixed together. Not enough craziness to be good like the werewolf movies and not enough suspense to be a Saw. If they would have kept it serious and intense like Saw or if they had made the whole thing campy like American Werewolf, it might have been a good film.

              I'd probably go 2 - 2.5 out of 5.
